Customer sign ups and coach switches
When it comes to enrolling customers you have a couple options. You can send them to your teambeachbody.com/yourusername website, and have them click on Join. They’ll be given the option to choose either a free account or club membership. You can also use this link to send people directly to your signup page. Just be sure to enter your coach ID # at the end instead of mine. http://www.teambeachbody.com/en/signup?referringRepId=137273. There is also an app that can be used to sign people up as both customers and coaches. (It’s actually not an app, but a website that you can save to your home screen on your phone.) Here’s the link for that. www.coachmobile.teambeachbody.com With the app you will just enter the person’s email address, choose whether they’re signing up as a coach or a customer, choose any items they want to purchase, then the customer will be sent an email to complete the sign up process and enter payment. You can check the status from your phone to see if they’ve started sign up or finished it yet.
Always give direct links to people when possible and never tell someone, “just go to my site”. If you do, 9 times out of 10 they’ll end up with a random coach, or purchase something off of beachbody.com by accident instead of getting it from you. If someone does accidentally purchase something from Beachbody.com (it will happen) you have 30 days to call coach reations to get the commission, PV and Success Club points moved over to you. Also, this can only be done if they paid in full. If they chose the payment option, they’ll have to pay their balance in full within the 30 days for you to be able to get credit for it. When signing up new customers, you may come across people who already have a coach, but aren’t active with them, people who already have programs, or people who try to sign up with you, but don’t enter your correct coach ID # by accident. When this happens you’ll need to do a coach switch.
There are two ways to do a coach switch:
The first is by email. All you do is have the customer email coach relations at email@example.com and say “I’d ike to make a coach switch and have Julie Henderson Coach ID # 137273 be my coach.” It usually takes about 2-3 days to go through, and since they already had an existing account, they won’t show up in your “New Customers” list, but you will see them in your Customers list under My Business > My Customers > Customer Search.
A faster way to get someone switched over is to call Coach Relations yourself. For this you’ll need the customer’s email address, home address and order # from their last purchase. Coach switches made this way will usually go through in a few hours.
